Volker's songs:
Heaven's Children

Lyrics by Volker Doormann   2007  >

Coming down as heaven's children, homeless in this world, they have their crying.
Coming in this world of war, and that they in the end will pay with dying.
Joining this world is an option, and a very easy way of going;
But only him, who takes the pain, his wakened soul will do the back home flying.

Heaven's children have forgotten most of their true home, where is no time.
Heaven's children don't remember their true home, and still they walk their line,
Hoping that the chosen line will shelter them from pain and fate and war.
Coming home is that's about the saints have spoken, and that what they adore;
But only him, who seeks the truth, his wakened soul in the end gets fine.

Knowing is the conciseness that nothing is as real - but yourself as soul.
Knowing this you never will afraid about the death of your life anymore.
Knowing that you never must as child of heaven follow any line or goal.
Coming home is that's about the saints have spoken and that what they adore.

Coming down as heaven's children, homeless in this world, they have their crying.
Coming in this world of war, and that they in the end will pay with dying.
Joining this world is an option and a very easy way of going;
But only him, who takes the pain, his wakened soul will do the back home flying.
